The concurrent holding of the 2025 Hong Kong International Printing and Packaging Fair and the Hong Kong Luxury Packaging Fair has created unique value in cross-industry resource integration. Taking advantage of the linkage effect of the two fairs, RISUN-PRINT comprehensively demonstrated its full-category packaging capabilities from mass consumer goods to high-end luxury goods, and received merchants from 42 countries. Among them, the demand for cross-sector cooperation increased significantly, becoming the biggest highlight of the fair.
Cross-industry integration has spawned innovative demands. In the food exhibition area of the Printing and Packaging Fair and the beauty exhibition area of the Luxury Packaging Fair, RISUN-PRINT found that customers’ composite demand for “function + aesthetics” is on the rise. To this end, it demonstrated a modular packaging system—through universal structural design combined with replaceable exterior components, it can not only meet the sealability requirements of food packaging but also achieve the visual impact of luxury packaging. An international beauty brand confirmed cooperation on-site to apply this system to the cross-boundary product line of its skincare sets and snack gift boxes.
The integration of online and offline channels expands global reach. The “EXHIBITION+” online platform of this year’s fair has broken the constraints of time and space. The virtual exhibition hall set up by RISUN-PRINT received a total of more than 2,000 visits, 65% of which came from emerging market customers who did not attend the offline fair. Through 3D modeling technology, customers can adjust the size, material, and process parameters of packaging boxes online and obtain quotation and delivery time information in real time. This digital service model has increased the inquiry conversion rate in South America by 30%, effectively making up for the geographical limitations of traditional fairs.
The output of technical standards enhances brand influence. During the fair, RISUN-PRINT released the 2025 Customized Packaging Technology White Paper, which systematically expounds on the environmental protection material selection guide, smart packaging application scenarios, and compliance management system. Among them, the “Five-Dimensional Evaluation Model” (environmental protection, anti-counterfeiting, interactivity, aesthetics, and economy) for luxury packaging box design was recommended by the organizing committee and became a reference standard for many brands. Through technology sharing and standard co-construction, RISUN-PRINT successfully established cooperation with 3 international design institutions, further improving its global service network.
